過去6年間の網膜剥離手術の統計的観察

Evaluation of Detachment Surgery during 6 Years

I．緒言

　特発性網膜剥離の病態および手術成績についての報告は枚挙のいとまのない程多数の報告があり，様々な角度から統計的考察が加えられている。その結果はほぼ類似したものであるが，順天堂大学眼科において，教室の加藤^1）が昭和35年網膜剥離80眼の手術経験につき報告して以来，昭和42年3月までに経験した特発性網膜剥離210眼についてここに諸家とほぼ同様見地から網膜剥離の病態と手術成績につき統計的観察を試み，特に難治症例に若干の検討を加え，報告するしだいである。

During the past 6 years from 1961 to 1966, 210 eyes in 206 patients were operated upon for idiopathic detachment of the retina in the clinic of the authors. Males were definitely more affected than females at the ratio of 66%versus 34%. The detachment occurred more frequently in the third decade of life followed by the sixth decade than in other age groups. Retinal holes were detected in 86.6% of the eyes. As method of operation, recourse was had to simple diathermy, lamellar resection of the sclera, scleral infolding and the cerclage after Arruga.
