眼圧測定時の注視装置

A fixing apparatus in the measurement of the intraocular tension

　眼圧の測定は元来，非常にデリケートであつて，色々な因子により容易に左右される。これを正確に測ろうと思えば，先ず使用する器械そのものが基準に合つた，良好なものでなければならないことは勿論であるが，実際の測定に当つては，被検眼を出来る丈，正しい位置，状態に於て測定出来るように，眼球を固定させることが最も大切である。

　私は上述の目的で，最近一つの注視固定装置を製作し，之れを多数例の人眼について測定したので，併せてこの機会に発表し，大方諸賢の御批判を仰ぎたいと思う。

An apparatus to fix the eye consists of three main parts ; one prop (A) and two arms (B, C) (Fig. 1, 2). On the arm B hangs a little weight (W) as object, and a plate of a right-angled triangle (P) to keep the prop vertical. The arm C is to correct the patient's face level, and both, arm B, and C can easily be mlved from side, at the same time up and down.

The auther examined the intraocular tension of normal 232 eyes in 120 individuals varying in age from 6 to 85 years, using the fixing apparatus and a Schioetz tono. meter which was made by J. Sklar Co. in America. These results were obtained as follows :
