色覚異常者の色対比について—定性的解析

A qualitative test of contrast sense to color defective individuals

緒言

　色覚異常者に色対比があるか否か，あるとすれば如何なる形で存在し，異常者の色認識にどのような働きをもつているかは，色覚異常者の色感を研究する場合常に念頭を離れない問題である。色覚異常者は異常の形に従つてそれぞれ特異な色混同の傾向をもつているが，更に欠陥のある色感に対する感受性の変化によつて惹起される錯覚が加つて，異常者の示す色感は非常に複雑なものとなり，その中に介在するであろう対比の占める部分がどのようなものか容易に覗い得ない。私共は異常者の色感に依存することなく色対比の性格を明らかになし得るような方法を企画，実験して色覚異常者の色感を解明する上に興味ある所見を得たのでここに報告する。

To investigate contrast phenomen concern to color defective individuals, we adopted an qualitative analysis employing contrast box and colored paper-band, which were equal made in value and chroma.

Results: There exists no any disparity in contrast sense between anomalous trichroma-tes and dichromates. The relationship between the grade of anomalous trichromates and contrast sense cannot be seen. When the contrast sense be seen of dichromates, the nature of their contrast sense are undistinguishable as compared with of anomalous trichromates.
