  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Nodules and indurations smaller than pigeon-size were seen on the skin of the face, neck, trunk and upper extremities in a 42 years old male. The face appeared to be the so-called facies leontina. Indolent swelling of lymphnodules of goose-egg size without adhesion was observed in the submental, cervical, axillary, inguinal and femoral regions. Swelling of the liver and spleen, acceleration of red cell sedimentation rate and eosinophilic leucocytosis were present. Hemorrhage and small white spots on the retina and yellowish red swelling of the episclera around the insertion of the superior rectus muscle were found.
