当教室に於て昭和31年1月より32年8月31日迄に各種疾患に対する水晶体摘出患者数は82名，103眼である。これらについての統計的観察を報告する。
The authors have statistically observed upon one hundred and three cases of cataract surgery at Tottori University Hospital during twenty months ; from 1956 to 1957.
In fifty seven cases, intracapsular extractions without using corneo-scleral suture were performed. Among them forty cases were primarily extracted and the remaining seventeen secondarily. The result of operation was more excellent than that of using corneoscleral sutures.
