Preziosi氏隅角電気焼灼術（第1篇）—正常家兎眼の減圧効果並びに組織学的所見について

　Preziosi^3）がElliotの管錐術の代りに，同じ濾過性瘢痕手術の一方法として，隅角の電気焼灼を最初に考案し，之れを緑内障眼の手術に応用したのは1924年に溯る。然し乍ら氏の手術法は，遺憾乍ら従来の成書，或は手術書に全く其の記載を見ず，今日迄僅かにKelly^7）及びColley^8）両氏が，氏の方法を緑内障患者に追試報告したに過ぎない。

　余も亦以前より，従来の管錐器の代りに，電気で隅角を焼灼してみたら如何という意図を抱いていたが，偶々上記Kelly及びColley二氏の文献から，初めてPreziosiが恐らくは余と同一の着想を以て，既に34年前に本法を実施した事実が分り，茲に改めて同氏に対し敬意を払うと同時に，新たなる興味を覚える次第である。

Preziosi's corneo-scleral galvano-cautery (1924) was done in eight normal rabbits eye with three sorts of electrodes ; a trephine type, a sphere type, each size of 1 mm in diameter, and a rectangle type of 0.3×1 mm in breadth. The author followed up the intraocular tension three to nine months after operation and investigated the histological changes.

These results obtained as follows:

1) Perforation of each eye was achieved parfect and satisfactory, and no hyphaemia or prolapsus of the iris and vitreous happened in the time of operation.
