Manson孤虫の眼窩内寄生例

A Case of Sparganum mansoni in the Orbit

　眼と寄生虫との関係については，古くより多数の報告がある。そのうち，十二指腸虫や蛔虫等の腸内寄生によつておこる眼症状は，全身的中毒症状の部分症としてである。又，大寄生虫Makro-parasitenが直接に眼局所に寄生して，多様な病状を呈することもあるが，かかる例は稀れなもので，その主なものを次に挙げてみると，

　A．線形動物Nemathelminthes

In this paper a case of Sparganum mansoni in the orbit was reported. The patient was a twenty-year old girl who lived in the country of Kyoto. She suffered from severe pain of the right eye-lid, and hemicrania, which was accompanied by its swelling and exophthalmos. She was strongly treated with Antibiotics and Sulfonamide without success.

The authors found an abscess-like lesion of the bulbar conjunctiva and incised it.A worm appeared from the wound, and it showed vigorous movements.
