Studies on ocular circulation by the radio isotope (Part 1)

緒言

　網膜，脈絡膜血管に関する研究は，従来より此等血管が内頸動脈の分岐で，脳内血管と解剖学的，機能的にも一単位をなすものとされ重要視されて来たことは周知の如くである。

　殊に，高血圧症の研究に，此等血管の変化を主体とした眼底所見が重要視され，最近は眼科医の手を借りることなく，内科医自らが眼底を観察し診断及び治療効果を検討する指針として用いるようになつて来ている。此のような形態学的研究の他に，網膜脈絡膜血行を動的に観察する試みがなされている。

A study on ocular circulation was performed by means of corneal pulse wave and P³² labelled red cells.

In order to record the corneal pulse wave Keio University's electronic retinal artery sp-hygmotonometer with pick-up holder was used. The P³² labelled red cells injected intra-venously were counted on the sclera with Geiger-Muller counter and counting rate meter.

This paper mainly reports on the method of experiments and a part of results on the ocular circulatory changes under induced artificial hibernation and thiopental anesthesia.
