東洋医学による蚕蝕性角膜潰瘍治験

The treatment of rodent ulcer (from the view of oriental medicine)

　蚕蝕性角膜潰瘍は原因及び治療に関して未だに確実なるものが把握されるに至つていない。昭和21年より33年に至る間に同症の5例を東洋医学的に治療する機会を得，何れも見るべき効果があつたので報告御叱正を乞う。

A non-specific treatment was applied for 5 cases of ulcus corneae rodens according to the theory of general adaptation syndrome.

The treatment alleviated the severe pain in the eye and head and other symptoms, and inhibited the further development of ulcer except one case which was forced to continue a heavy labor.
