眼変化を初発症状とした脊索腫（Chordoma）の1例

A case of chordoma with ocular changes as its initial symptom

はじめに

　脊索の遺残物から発生する脊索腫は非常に稀な腫瘍で吾国殊に眼科ではその報告は少い。最近その1例を経験したので症例追加報告する。

Eleven-years-old girl complained of headache, vomiting for about one year and later blind-ness, proptosis of both eyes, nasal obstruction and swelling of right parotis region.

Clinical findings : The vision of both eyes were lost. Bilateral proptosis, simple optic atrophy, disturbance of ocular movements, right trigeminal involvement were remarkable. Intracranial pressure was increased.

X-ray examination : Destruction of sella turcica and erosion of right sphenoidal-, ethmoi-dal-and maxillar sinuses were founded.

Histological findings : This tumour proved to be typical chordoma.
