約40米離れた所に落雷があり,大体22時間後から68日後まで観察中,角膜,眼底,虹彩水晶体等に夫々病変を示した例に遭遇したので報告する。
A case of ocular disturbance due to thunder bolt.
A 35 years old male, who was happened to be. 40 meters away from thunderbolt, develop-ed 22 hours later a transient glossopharyngeal nervous paralysis, superficial diffuse opacity on the whole cornea, and parenchymal turbidity in the upper portion, even if there was no abnormal changes in the skin. Edema in the macula luteae and dark red reflex in the fo-vea centralis appeared 4 days later in the right eye and 8 days later in the left eye. Eleven days later perforation of the macula luteae was observed bilaterally.
