Prednisolone局所使用後の上皮性角膜炎

Epithelial Keratitis due to Topical Prednisolone

　Prednisoloneの局所使用により,その使用開始後1〜2週を経て上皮性角膜炎を発生することが屡女あるという事実に就て述べた。この角膜炎は更にPrednisoloneの使用を継続しても,1〜2週の経過で治ることが多い。この種の角膜炎と,Cortisone類使用後におこり易い角膜真菌症との間には,一定の関係があるかも知れないということを論じた。

Epithelial punctate keratitis appears often after topical therapy with prednisolone oint-ment. It appears one to two weeks after the beginning of the treatment. It disappears spontaneously in a course of a few weeks, even if the treatment is continued.
