後発白内障の為に視力が不充分なものは手術的療法を必要とする。然るに後発白内障の臨床像は極めて種々多様であり,従つて其の手術式も極めて多数ある。それで本篇に於ては著者の常用する主な術式に就て述べるが,実際に於ては各症例毎に精査考究し種々の工夫を必要とするものである。
Cautions for treatment of after-cataract were described and out-line of author's method was presented.
(1) Linear extraction
It is performed when the soft lens masses are left in the anterior chamber. The lens masses are cut in small pieces in the anterior chamber with Sato's knife, and removed through the corneal opening made with keratome. Irrigation of the anterior chamber is, performed after that.
(2) Dilaceration
This method is for the strained membranous after-cataract. Knifes of De Lapersonne, Sato, Graefe and Nakaizumi are used for this operation.
(3) Iridocapsulotomy or iridocapsulectomy
