網膜色素変性症と組織療法について

Studies on the tissular therapy of pigmentodegeneratio retinae.

I．緒言

　網膜色素変性症は，近来頓に其の原因論及び治療法に関して，活溌な研究が行われているが，未だその何れもが，決定的と云い難く，尚，眼科領域に於ける難症の一つである事は，周知の通りである。

　私等は先に，メチオニンの本症に対する影響を，アダプチノールと対比的に検索した結果，アダプチノールに，本症の暗順応促進効果の優位性がある事を実証したが，アダプチノールのみに依つて本症の治療が解決されるものでない事は，吾々の臨床経験からも，又，これに関する諸氏の業績からも，推定に難くない。

To reexamine the problem of association between pigmento degeneratio retinae and tissular therapy the authors inspected the effects of refrigerated placenta (Melsmon P) on the retinal metabolism in the rabbit eye in accordance with the clinical experiment, and gained the following results.

1. Melsmon P will improve the visual acuity and critical frequency a little in the pigmento degeneratio retinae aggravated more than the average degree, but give no effect on the visual field and dark-adaptation.
