南米移住者とトラコーマ（その3） 附 ブラジル銀界管見

Trachoma Problems on Immigrants to South America

　前回報告^1）2）で我国から南米までの移民船内の衞生状況とアルゼンチン並にパラグアイの入国時トラコーマ（以下トラ）検疫に関する諸問顧に就て述べた。今回はブラジル移住者の検診と現地のトラに対する態度及び私が2カ月に亘つて調査見学した彼の地のトラと銀界の様子の一部を紹介する。

A medical inspection of trachoma on immigrants to south America are divided in the countries concerned.

Argentine, however, examines strictly for every kind of trachoma and refuses entry into her country in proportion to legistlation.

Therefore we, eye doctors should pay a more attention to this matter.

In Brazil we should pay a special attention on an infectous trachoma and send emigrants after a complete healing of trachoma.

It is expected that a viral conjunctivitis which is often occurred in an emigrant ship can be wiped out in a close cooperation with the organizations concerned.
