I．緒言

　トラコーマ（以下Tr．と略す）集団治療中止後における治癒の遠隔成績は，集団治療の価値を論ずる上にも，又治癒判定の基準を定める上にも極めて重要な意義を有するものである。

　我々の教室では，神島外浦地区，白石島，真鍋島において，Tr．集団検診及び集団治療を行い，その成績については既に報告したが，最近我々はこの3地区の集団治療中止後における治癒状態の遠隔成績を観察したので報告する。

Remote results after mass treatment of trachoma in Kamishima (17 months after the ces-sation of treatment), Shiraishi jima (10 months), and Manabe jima (4 months) were inve-stigated. The relations between the results and the districts, the degree and stages of tra-choma at first examination and immediately after the treatment, the duration of treatment, and the age of patient were discussed in details. The effect of treatment on the appearance of papilla, follicles, cicatrix and pannus were also discussed.
