緒言

　昭和25年佐賀県下に於いて点眼縮瞳薬カルピノール液（20ccアンプル入り）を誤つて，静脈注射したと思われるものにて死亡せし例が数例，新聞紙にて報道せられた。（その詳細に就いては別に報告した。）南熊太は，此のカルピノール液誤注射によると思わるる死亡例に就いての調査に最初から関係していたのであるが，その後私共はカルピノール液に就いて，静脈内注射，皮下注射，球結膜下注射，球後注射等色々の方法による実験を行つたのでその結果に就いて，報告する次第である。（此の実験は昭和25年，昭和26年頃即ち井上豊人が，久留米医大助手として，眼科学教室に於いて勤務していた頃に行つた実験である。）

The author conducted an experiment on intravenous injection, hypodermic injection etc. of CALPINOL solution, a miotic eye-lotion, and besides of Eserine, Pilocarpine, Arecoline etc. In comparison among them he got the following results :

1) Experiment on CALPINOL

intravenous injection, 1 mg./kg………………even not died

3) Pilocarpine (by rabbits)
