カルピノールに関する研究（其の1）—点眼縮瞳薬カルピノール液の取扱上の注意に就て

Studies on CALPINOL No.1:Notice of Treating the miotica CALPINOL Solution

緒言

　点眼縮瞳薬「カルピノール」は，合成の縮瞳，眼圧低下剤でCarbaminoilcholin chloridなる化学組成を有し，縮瞳薬の極度に払底し，エゼリン，ピロカルピン等の品切れにて緑内障治療に困却を来していた所も相当多かつたろうと思われる昭和22年4月，大阪大学に於て行われた日本医学会眼科分科会の際に厚生省に申請されて田辺製薬株式会社から，発売することになつたものにして，此の眼科分科会席上，庄司教授から一般会員にも縮瞳点眼薬としでPilocarpin, Eserinの代用に充分なることを紹介されている。

　其の後此のCalpinolは点眼用としては縮瞳，眼圧低下作用等に就て色々の実験が色々の人々により行われ，報告されている。

Several cases happened to die in 1950 by mistaken intravenous injection of the miotica CAPINOL. Though CALPINOL solution is eye-lotion, it has been contained in an ampoule of 20cc. Therefore, CALPINOL is mistaken for intravenous injection. While as I knew from the animal experiment that CALPINOL had strong virulence I warned to correct its package at once.

The ampoule has not been corrected, but the labe on the ampoule is written for oph-thalmic.
