プレドニソロン球結膜下注射について

Clinical effect of Subconjunctival Injection of Predonisolone Oil Suspension

　プレドニソロンはコルチソンに比して約5倍の治療効果のある事が内服及び点眼療法で実証されているが，プレドニソロンの球結膜下注射を今迄発表された適応症以外の疾患にも試みて2,3の知見を得たので以下に述べる事とした。

　使用するプレドニソロンは関節腔内注入用の「プレドニン」懸濁液20ccバイアル入りのものを4cc球結膜下に注射する。前処置としては局麻用エピレナミン添加2％キシロカイン1ccにヒアルロニダーゼである「スプラーゼ」粉末アンプレ入り1箇2,000VUMのものに溶解し，上直筋附着部の横の方で血管を避けて球結膜下に注射する。

It was effective for various inflammations of anterior segment. The effect was almost similar to that of studies already published. It was also effective for 2 cases of xerosis of late trachomatous eyes, flat detachment with exsudative choroiditis, and several cases of central retinitis. All of these cases were irremediable with ordinary treatment.

Predonine oil suspension, which has been used into the joint primarily, is injected sub-conjunctivally 0.4 cc once a week.

Prior to this injection, 0.3 cc of xylocaine dissolved with hydase 2000 VUM/1 cc has been injected into the same place.
