パイフエル氏菌性結膜炎の統計的観察

A statistical observation of conjunctivitis by Pfeiffer's bacilus

緒言

　Pfeiffer氏Influenza菌は所謂インフルエンザの病原的価値は現在消極的で眼科領域に於いては従来Koch-Weeks氏菌との異同に就いてのみ多くの興味が持たれて来た。併しながら眼分泌物の顕微鏡的診断の際，屡々本菌に遭遇し，且つその患者の臨床症状も特定の所見を呈し，且つ経過も短時目に治癒する事に気付いたので我々の外来に於ける1年間の患者に就いて臨床所見を総合的に観察し聊か見るべき成績を得た。

We encounter with Pfeiffer's Influenza bacillus while microspical diagnosis of ocular exc-retions. Though its pathogenity have been already discussed by many, I recognized the pathogenity from which a catarrhal conjunctivitis with various features (children under 8, especially suckliugs are suffered, but cured in short time by treatment, with light infla-mmation of the conjunctiva and much discharge of eyes, without complecations), originated.
