学童のTrachoma Control 第2報—学童Trachoma検診後の追跡観察における学童家族の態度及び認識について

Trachoma Control of School Children:On the Understanding and Attitude of Families in the Follow-up Study After the Mass Examination and Treatment Against Trachoma in School Health Service

　地区把握の方法，又は地区の健康を増進してゆくための働きかけの方式を見出す為に，トラコーマの集団診療を機会として，15例を選び，家庭訪問による家族の保健に対する態度及び認識について調査を行なつた。該地区は，その歴史的地理的な構成から2地区に分れていて，夫々その地区により態度についての差違がみとめられるが，保健についての認識は極めて不十分であり，両地区とも地区組織活動は殆んど皆無と言つて良い。しかし，学童を通じての情報伝達は極めて良好に行われ，それによつて家族の協力をも得ることが可能であつた。この様な地区にあつては，学校保健事業の伸展を利用することによつて，CommunityPlanningはかなり成功する可能性の多いことを知り得た。

For the purpose of finding out the method to grasp the community and the approach me-thod to promote public health practice in the community, fifteen school children who were diagnosed as genuine trachoma by the previous survey published in the report Ⅰ, were chosen.

These school children were investigated by the method of home-visiting, and the extent of understanding and the atittude of families towards health were measured by the method of social technology. The community-area can be divided into two parts from the viewpoint of geographical and social structures.
