Various antibiotics were used at the mass treatment for 2820 pupils who had received almost no trachoma treatment, and the results were as follows :

1. 2% Ointment of chloramphenicol was not effective for typical trachoma.

2. Therefore, We should like to consider the previous report, that slight degree of tra-choma was treated effectively by chloram-phenicol, as indirect effect.

3. It was established that leucomycin was an effective antibiotics against trachoma next to the series of tetracyclin.

4. Typical trachoma was found less than 1% of examinees, but trachomatous signs were noticed less than 10%.
