Clinical Diagnosis of Trachoma:From the View of Slit-lamp Observation

1．緒言

　トの結角膜症状としては，従来から濾胞様隆起（FB），乳頭（P），卜性混濁（Oc），瘢痕（C）及びパンヌス（Ps）等が挙げられている。最近には角膜の上部にフルオで染まる上皮性角膜炎も，重要な症状の一つであると主張する学者もある。

　之等の変化の中，ト性結膜症状の時間的推移を考えてみると，の様な順序で，生々しいト性変化は漸次に古くなりつつ，瘢痕化して行くことが解る。

The author described the findings of slit-lamp observation of follicular bodies, papillae, tra-chomatous turbidity scur and pannus as trachomatous changes.

Follicular bodies (FB) are divided into follicles (F) and pseudofollicles (PF) by ramification of blood vessels in them (Fig.1). F are divided futher F₁, F₂, F₃ and f by the grade of growth and PF are divided into 2 kinds, acute PF and chronic PF.(cf. Clinical Ophthalmology, Vol. 10, p. 1599)
