東京労災病院に於ける眼内鉄片異物摘出成績に就て

On the result of the extraction of an iron foreign body in the eye at the Tokyo Rosai Hospital.

Ⅰ．緒言

　眼内鉄片異物摘出に就て，比較的新鮮な症例に関しては数多くの報告があるが，数ヵ月乃至1年有余経過した陳旧な眼内鉄片異物の数例を経験した報告は少いのでここに報告する。

　尚当院で労災患者の障害等級の認定検査に来院した患者に就て，眼内異物の検索を行つた結果，失明眼の12％に達する眼内鉄片異物が見逃されていた。これに就ても諸家の注意を喚起したい。

As a result of examination and extraction of intraocular foreign body at Tokyo Rosai Hos-pital, 12% of blind eyes had missed to find intraocular foreign bodies.

The time intervals of 22 cases, from accident to discover, were 3 days for 5cases, 1 month for 1, 3 months for 3, 6 months for 2, 9 months for 2, 1 year for 3, 1 year and 6 months for 2, 3 years and 9 months for 1.

21 cases had iron foreign body and 1 had stone foreign body. The most frequent site was vitrious humor and the ratio was 60%.
