私1)は一昨年の本学会の席上で,全身(汎)適応症候群General Adaptation Syndrome (G-A-S)から見た緑内障についての私共の考えを述べたが,その後本問題に関する知見の進歩に伴い,再び同じ題目の下に考察を行うこととした。

It is well known that primary acute congestive glaucoma is provocated by various stimuli, such as cold, trauma, physical and emotional shocks, insomnolence, nervous strain, etc., which are all stressors of Selye. In the previous report many evidences were collected to demonstrate glaucoma as a disease of adaptation. In this report further proof is presented as follows:
