（15）眼のRigidityと屈折度との関係に就いて

Relation between the rigidity coefficient and the refraction of the eye

緒論

　Friedenwald氏に依れば，ocular rigidity （Rと略す）とは，眼球容積が外圧に依つて変化する際に，眼球の示す抵抗であると定義されている。今Rの概念を眼圧測定値に加えると眼圧tensionと眼内圧intra ocularpressureとの正しい関係が得られると謂われる^4）5）。この概念及び具体的な人間の眼に於ける推定法は，氏に依つて確立せられ，氏はR係数が50歳迄は年齢の増加につれて増加し，高度近視では減少する事を示した^2）。此れは既にDoesschate氏に依つて紹介せられ^1），我が国では今井氏がこの問題を近視に結びつけ，矢張り近視度の増加と共にR-係数は小さくなる事を示した^12）。若しも此等の結果が正しいならば，現在問題となつている学校近視の論争に一つの資料を提供するかも知れない。

　処がR係数は5.5g,7.5g,10.0gの重錘で眼圧を測定し，そのmmHgの値の差から求められるが，一般に眼軸の長いと云われる近視眼が，その逆の遠視眼に比し眼圧が高いと云う事は問題にされた事はない様で，眼圧は屈折度とは関係ないものと考えられる。然し同様に眼圧測定値から計算されるR係数の場合のみ，屈折に対する影響が現われて来ると云う理由は何処にあるだろうか。

The relation between the rigidity coeffecient and the refraction of the eye were studied by measuring in the weight of 5.5GR. and 10.0G.R. with Schioetz tonometer which has been checked in the Committee on Standardization of Tonometer in New York 1954. However the rigidity coefficien were so large that couldn't be calculated on the Friedenwald's table. There-upon, the value of its Kw ere decided by the value of Pt, vc and R.C.=40×K was indused to pecide R.C. By these methods, K value of 21 eyes in 212 eyes were negative. The personal variation of R.C. excluded this 1% were analysed by Log.
