  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

In the simultaneous tomogram method of ul-trasonography, many amounts of information can be obtained through a single scan in ocular region. Ultrasonic signals are put directly into A-D converter and digital signals are sent to the memory unit, and then displayed. Each four dB ultrasonic signals are converted into digital signals for color display according to individual levels.

Further, this color display system was intro-duced to refine the image by performing the following functions : 1. smoothing (to eliminate noises in the receiving unit). 2. equipotential treatment (to display desired ecoh level in desired color).
