Fundus Camera with an Automated Guide for Visual Axis

緒言

　従来の眼底カメラは，他の眼科機器と同様に観察面を露呈させるには，他眼による視線誘導方式が採用されてきた。これはごく限られた光路内にさらに視標を加える困難性を避けるためだが，次のような欠点がある。

　①他眼の視力が良好でなければならない。

A Mamiya fundus camera (FR-200) was mo-dified so as to incorporate 12 target lights for fixation around the object lens. During the process of fundus photography, each of the target lights is switched on successively so as to enable the documentation of wide fundus areas in a programmed sequence. The method enables the coverage of whole of the posterior fundus area and facilitates the follow-up of lesions disseminated over a wide fundus area in a routine manner.
