下斜筋手術の経験

Clinical Results of Inferior Oblique Weakening Procedures

緒言

　小児斜視で下斜筋過動を合併することはしばしばみられるが，本邦では最近栗屋ら^16）の報告，米国ではStager^17）の報告がある。われわれは，1969年6月より1973年4月までの4年間に，当院において全身麻酔で斜視手術を施行した660例（993眼）中，その13.5％にあたる86例（135眼）に下斜筋減弱手術を施し，その結果をまとめることができたので報告する。

Eighty-six (135 eyes) patients who had uni-or birateral overaction of inferior oblique mus-cle were operated under general anaesthesia with weakning procedures. Visual acuity, bino-cular function and eye movement were evalu-ated prior and after the surgery. The results obtained were as follows :

1. Visual acuity improved after the opera-tion in all cases. No case was found which showed reduced vision, whether corrected or uncorrected, after the surgery.

2. Grade II fusion was easily established af-ter the surgery.
