下斜筋後転術による眼位の矯正について

Eye position following recession of inferior oblique muscle

　下斜筋後転術による垂直，水平眼位の変化について検討した。片眼の下斜筋後転術20例で，垂直眼位は5〜7△矯正された。両眼の下斜筋後転術8例では，垂直眼位の変化はほとんど起こらなかった。下斜筋後転術による水平眼位の変化は，輻湊側へ移動する例と開散側へ移動する例とがあり，一定の傾向を認めなかった。下斜筋過動症を伴った症例では，下斜筋後転術を先に行い，残った水平斜視に対して定量手術を行うのが妥当と考えられた。

We evaluated the vertical and horizontal eyepositions induced by recession of inferior obliquemuscle in 20 cases. Unilateral recession of inferioroblique resulted in reduction of vertical deviationby 5 to 7 prism diopters in the primary position.Bilateral recession of inferior oblique induced nosignificant changes in vertical deviation. There wasno definite tendency in the postoperative changes inhorizontal deviation either in esotropic orexotropic patients.

The findings seemed to suggest that verticaldeviation has to be corrected initially in cases withoveracting inferior oblique muscle.
