緒言

　生来外斜視の患者が幼児期に調節性内斜視を合併すれば，眼位が外斜視から内斜視の間を往復するであろうことは，理論的には考えられるが，実際にはこのような現象が著明にみられる症例はまれである。今回われわれはこのような症例を経験したが，調査し得た範囲の文献では，英国の文献に1例見出し得たのみで，本邦の文献には見出し得なかつたので報告する。

A report is presented on a case, 6-year-old girl, who showed intermittent exotropia as-sociated with accommodative esotropia, alternat-ing hyperphoria and latent nystagmus. The initial eye position was unstable fluctuating between eso-and exotropia. After correction of hypermetropia with spectacles (RE: +4.0D; LE:+4.5D), intermittent exotropia resulted with both eyes frequently held parallel. Im-proved binocular vision was obtained through the glasses. Further surgical correction is contemplated.
