Quantitative Analysis of "Optic Cup" and its Clinical Application. II. Consideration on Clinical Cases

緒言

　緑内障の経過観察，病期判定にさいし，定量視野とならんで視神経乳頭所見が最も信頼すべきparameterとして注目を集めつつある^1）。

　とくに眼圧の変動に対応して生じる"opticcup"の変化を数量的に記録することは，データの客観性から臨床上非常に興味ある問題である。

Clinical application of this method made pos-sible to test the pressure susceptibility of the optic nerve by way of giving an artificial rise of ocular tensions. Although there are several ways of producing a pressure rise, such as ophthalmodynamometer and suction cup method, topical steroid provocation was adopted because of the condition appears most physiologic. Parall elstudy of ocular tensions and the fields (selecti-ve perimetry) were carried out. Secondary, eval uation of pressure control with or without med-ication has been achieved by sequential photo-graphi ng of the optic discs.
