  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

1) A 2-year-old boy got wounded at the upper lid by a yellow pencil with benzidine yellow, which resulted in a lid tumor. The tumor was extracted, which was histologically a granuloma consisting of fibrocytes, fibroblasts.reticulum cells, giant cells, lymphocytes, neu-trophil leucocytes, eosinophil leucocytes, and phagocytic cells with yellow pigment around the necrotic tissue.

2) Mice were inoculated at their upper lid and back with yellow, red, blue, pink, brown and white colored pencils and an ordinary black pencil. A week after the inoculation each of the colored pencils induced a tumor at the subcutaneous tissue.
