眼科手術患者の術前における結膜嚢細菌培養成績と抗生物質の影響について（第1報）—Cephaloridine （Keflodin, Shionogi）点眼の効果

緒言

　眼科手術，ことに眼内手術において，術後の感染予防の重要なことはいうまでもないところであり，この目的に，古くから抗生物質の全身的ならびに局所的投与が行なわれて，多大の効果を発揮している。

　今回，私共は，手術前に感染予防のために抗生物質を局所的に投与し，その前後の結膜嚢内の細菌培養を行ない，投与前健常結膜嚢内に存在した菌が，投与後にいかなる消長を示すかを探究する目的で検索を行なつた。このような試みは，私共の調査した範囲内では，他にみられないようである。点眼に使用する抗生物質の選択にあたつては，教室の上江田ら^1）が先に発表した成績を参照して，数多い抗生物質の中からまずcephalori—dineを選び使用に供した。

Cephaloridine ophthalmic solution was applied to 57 preoperative eye patients for the purpose of sterillization of the conjunctival sac. Cultiva-tion of the bacteria in the conjunctival sac was made with heart infusion agar, heart infusion blood agar and brain heart infusion bouillon (Eiken, Tokyo) both before and after use of cephaloridine ophthalmic solution. On the isola-ted bacteria, sensitivity to penicillin G, stre-ptomycin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, sul-fisoxazole, tetracyclin, kanamycin, cephaloridine, lincomycin and gentamycin was determined.
