慢性眼科疾患に対するIsoxsuprine療法の検討

Therapeutic Effects of Duvadilan for Chronic Ocular Diseases

はじめに

　血管平滑筋の薬物受容体へ直接働き，末梢血行動態改善を行なうIsoxsuprine hydrochloride（塩酸イソクスプリン）製剤であるズファジランの慢性眼科疾患に対する使用経験を得たのでここに大要を報告する。筆者は本剤の薬効検定に二重盲検法と推計学的検討を行なつて，従来の主観的に流れやすかつた判定を客観的に行ない得るように努力した。

A double blind study was conducted to evalu-ate the possible therapeutic effects of isoxsuprine hydrochloride (Duvadilan), a sympathomimetic beta-active agent, in 60 patients with chronic ophthalmologic diseases. The cases included re-tinal angiopathies of various nature, central se-rous retinopathy and retrobulbar neuritis among others.

After 4 weeks of treatment with the drug in one group and with placebo in the other, a si-gnificant improvement was noted in the drug-treated group as regards visual acuity and vi-sual field.
