網膜神経膠腫症例に対し直接電気凝固を試みた治療例

A Case of Retinoblastoma Treated with Electrodiathermy and light coagulation

I．緒言

　網膜神経膠腫は乳幼児に発生し，末期には頭蓋内および内臓に転移する悪性腫瘍とされており，これが両眼に原発することもまれではなく，諸家の報告^{1）3）6）7）11）13）}をまとめればだいたい20〜36.5％とされている。

　治療法も，放射線療法，化学療法，光凝固法，電気凝固法，眼球剔出術などがあげられている。

A two-month-old baby was admitted to the Kobe University Hospital on August 20, 1968 Prior to the present admission, he had a enu-cleation operation of the right eye because of being diagnosed histologically as the retinobla-stoma. After the operation he had been treated with radiation therapy of betatron (total dosis 5,000r).

Three months later, a retinal tumor was found in his left eye, The retinal tumor was as large as three times of optic nerve head in diameter and showed about 6 diopters in height.
