I.緒言
The electroretinogram (ERG) was recorded in 68 eyes of 51 patients with cataract. The behavior of the ERG was compared with the post-operative vision.
The post-operative vision was measured at least three months after surgery. Two kinds of the ERG were examined in most instances. The one was the ERG obtained by the usual method, and another was the summated ERG recorded by using a feeble red light of a small disk from with the visual angle of 3°.
The results were as follows :
1) In 92% of the normal ERG group, post-operative vision was improved over 1.0.
