String of Pearlsを伴つたベーチェット氏病の1例

Behçet's Disease Associated with String of Pearls

I．緒言

　string of pearlsはザルコイドージスのさい，眼底の下方赤道部に灰白色の小体が鎖状に連なつた所見に対してLanders^1）が名づけた名称である。Landersはこれらの変化を硝子体の変化として記載しており，わが国でも，鹿野ら^2），桐沢ら^3）の報告に同様な記載が見られるが，いかなる過程でかようなpearlsが形成されてくるかの詳細な報告はまつたくない。私は，最近経験したベーチェット氏病の1例の眼底下方赤道部に帯状浸出物を認め，これらの浸出物が，string of pearlsへ変化してゆく過程を観察した。さらにこれらの経過観察から，この帯状浸出物は，ベーチェット氏病における前房蓄膿に対する後部蓄膿（prere—tinal hypopyon）とでも考えられるものであり，ザルコイドージスのさいと異なつた興味ある知見を得たのでここに報告する。

A description is given of occurrence of string of pearls in the vitreous in a patient with Behçet's syndrome.

A 32-year-old male had been suffering fromrecurrent attack of anterior and posterior uvei-tis, preceded by headache, fatigability, febril temperature, aphthous or ulcerative changes in the oral and the genital area and erythema nodosum on extremities. In one occasion of se-vere attack in the right eye, yellowish-white exudates like a waxy band accumulated in the preretinal space in the lower equatorial portion of the fundus.
