Wegener's Granulomatosis: Report of 2 Cases and a Statistical Study

I．緒言

　Klinger氏（1932）の報告にはじまりWege—ner氏^1）2）により詳細に記載されたWegener'sgranulomatosisは上気道の壊疸性肉芽腫，全身の壊死性血管炎，糸球体腎炎を主徴とする症候群でこんにちでは1つの独立した疾患単位と考えられている。その原因が不明でありかつ予後が不良なため，近年特に注目されてきている。Wege—ner's granulolnatosisの症状は多種多彩であり，その関係する臨床領域は耳鼻科^3）・内科（小児科）^1）・眼科・皮膚科^5）・泌尿器科など広範囲にわたる。

　Nielsen氏^6）によれば1962年までにWegener'sgranulomatosisの報告例は118例に達するとのことであるが，最近本邦1における報告も急激に増加している。

Two cases of Wegener's granulomatosis were reported. A statistical study on 62 cases of Wegener's granulomatosis reported in Japan was also made in this paper.

Case 1. A 45-year-old woman was hospitalized with the complaints of right exophthalmos, li-mitation of motility and ocular pain. Death oc-curred two years after hospital admission in spite of the treatment with steroids and anti-biotics. Autopsy revealed necrotizing granuloma and perivasculitis in ocular tissues, orbit, nasal sinuses, lung, etc., and glomerulonephritis.
