Retinal Arteriospasm Accompanied by Hemiplegia on the Opposite Side.

I．緒言

　一過性の網膜動脈攣縮症例については，現在までかなりの報告^1）〜5）がある。しかし，その網膜の変化（動脈の白線化，および，それより周辺部の網膜の混濁など）は，いわゆる一過性であるが，ためになかなか直接確認し難いようである。特にその変化を眼底写真にとらえ得た報告例は，われわれの調べたかぎり，日本では2例^3）5）にすぎない。

　ここでは，網膜中心動脈のみならず，眼動脈を含む内頸動脈が，その支配領域の一部で攣縮をおこしたと思われる例に遭遇し，網膜中心動脈攣縮の発作時の眼底写真をとり得たので報告する。

A report is presented on a 41-year-old male who suffered from repeated transient attacks of conjunctival hyperemia, blindness of the right eye and of left-side hemiplegia.

During one of these attacks which lasted. about five minutes, ophthalmoscopic examina-tion revealed the superior temporal artery of the right eye to assume an appearance of white streak (shown as Fig. 1 & 2). The patholo-gical appearance was most prominent at the second bifurcation. No retinal edema was pre-sent in the area surrounding the pathological. artery.
