A report is presented on two cases of pul-sating exophthalmus, the one being idiopath-ic and the other of posttraumatic origin.

The first cast a female of 57 years of age, developed idiopathic pulsating exophthalmus of her left eye after suffering from systemichypertension for 3 years. Two months later the patient developed secondary glaucoma on the same side. Both exophthalmus and glau-coma could completely be cured after five months of medical therapy without surgical intervention.

The second case,a male of 29 years of age, developed pulsating exophthalmus 4 months after head injury through traffic accident.
