先天性脳脱による仮性搏動性眼球突出症

Pulsating pseudoexophthalmus caused by congenital prolape of the brain

緒言

　Sloman （1898）は搏動性眼球突出を真性と仮性に大別し更にSattlerは仮性のものを搏動性悪性腫瘍に因るもの，蔓性血管腫に因るもの及び眼窩上壁の一部欠損による脳搏の伝達に因るもの等に分類している眼窩壁の欠損によるものは成因によつて先天性と後天性に分類され，先天性のものゝ大部分は脳脱に因るものであると言われている。小川氏は先天性脳脱の頻度に就て3500〜4000の分娩の1人位の割合に発生する疾病で之れが限窩内に脱出する事は甚だ珍らしいと述べて居る。私達は最近本症の興味ある一例を経験したので追加報告したいと思う。

A 19 years old woman. Exophthalmus appeared since 10 years ago and the eye-balls are pulsating. Other hereditary dispositions were not noticed. Congenital prolapse of the brain were found by the operation. X ray examination revealed a bone defect in the orbital wall of the right eye.

Relations between this disease and hormone or autonomic nerves were observed.

Exophthalmus was treated operationally. Severe myopia was found in the left eye and anisometropia detected.
