視覚誘発反応（VER）に現われる‘on’rhythmについて

The 'on' Rhythm in the Visual Evoked Response (VER)

I．緒言

　前報^{1）2）3）4）5）}において，著者らは，ERGの律動様小波（以下，O波と略）と殆んど等しい周期を有する律動的な‘on’反応（‘on’rhythm）が，視神経，外側膝状体，上丘の誘発反応に現われることを実験的に証明し，また，家兎のVERにも，同様の‘on’rhythmがPrimary responseとして出現し得ることについて述べた。視路におけるこの種の反応が，猿，猫などの視路から記録されることは既にDoty^7）8）らによつても報告されており，Cobb及びDawson^9）は人VERの初期に現われる小波群の周期がO波のそれに近似することを報告した。しかし，DotyらはERGとの比較は行わなかつたし，Dawsonらは，両反応における小波間の対応に関し，詳細な検討を行わなかつたので，特に人のERGとVERの間に著者らが実験的に認めたような関係が成立するかどうかについては，なお可成りの疑問が残されていた。

　著者らは，正常人のVERとERGの同時記録を行い，O波と，VERの‘on’rhythmとの時間関係を詳細に検討した結果，両者の間に明かな対応を求めることが出来たので，その結果について報告する。

Combined observations were done on the oscillatory responses to a flash light which appear on the b-wave of the ERG and in the VER, especially on the 'on' rhythms arising in the early phase in either response. Xenon-flash (1.4 Joule/flash) was used as stimulus light which was usually delivered at 1 sec interval. Both records wree made simultaneo-usly by an integrating method with electronic computer (ATAC-401). Following the initial positive wave of the VER there occur sever-al rhythmic responses with their periods at 5-10msec.
