裂孔閉塞Xenon光凝固法による自発網膜剥離の治療成績（第2報）

Results of Tear-Closing Xenon Photocoagulation for Treatment of Spontaneous Retinal Detachment (Report 2)

I．緒言

　私共は，既に第17回臨床眼科学会において，1962年5月以降の約16カ月間に裂孔閉塞Xenon光凝固法を実施した自発網膜剥離32眼の治療成績を報告し，併せて本法の適応に関する見解を述べたが（臨眼18巻233〜244頁），その後更に加えた自験成績を顧みて，重ねて報告したいと思う。

Of the 170 cases (173 eyes) hospitalized with spontaneous retinal detachment at the Department of Ophthalmology of Hiroshima Univeraity during the period of September 11,1963 to August 30,1965, xenon photoco-agulation was performed on 24 cases (24 eyes).

Of the 15 cases (15 eyes) that underwent photocoagulation as the only surgical proce-dure, complete reattachment was attained in10 eyes (66.7%). Of the 9 cases (9 eyes) that underwent the combined treatment of photocoagulation and another procedure, complete reattachment was attained in 6 eyes (66.7%).
