イミダゾリン系薬剤（ナシビン）の眼科臨床における治験成績

Clinical Application of Nasivin for Eye Diseases.

I．はじめに

　従来結膜の炎症ないし充血に対する血管収縮剤として，アドレナリン誘導体，あるいはエフエドリン誘導体が点眼剤として用いられ，それらの効果が認められて来た。これらの点眼剤の副作用としてしばしば認められることは，点眼中止後に現われる反応性の充血であり，一時的な効果は認められても永続的な効果が得られないことが少なくないことである。

　ここに新しい血管収縮剤として登場したのがイミダゾリン系の薬剤であり，薬物学的な研究の結果，上記の薬剤と比較してその効果の持続時間が永く，しかも反応性充血がきわめて少なくかつ抗菌性を有する等の長所があることが認められた。

The 0.05% solution of Nasivin, the 2-(4'- tert. Butyl-2', 6'-dimethyl-3'-hydroxyben-zy1)-2-imidazoliniumchlorids, was applied as an eye lotion for 51 cases of patients with eye diseases. Distinct therapeutic effects of Nasivin were noticed without any secondary reactions in following eye diseases : subacute conjunctivitis, chronic conjunctivitis, astheno-pia, vernal conjunctivitis and sclerokeratitis.

On the other hand, the therapeutic effects of Nasivin were uncertain in some cases of conjunctivitis acuta complicated with kerat-itis superficialis.
