仮性近視と思われる症例へのネオシネジンの影響

Effect of mydriatica (Neosynesin) on the cases of suspected pseudomyopia.

I．緒言

　屈折性近視の中でも特に問題となるものに仮性近視があげられる。仮性近視は，戦時，戦後の数年を除いて，多発の傾向を示しているが，近代益々煩雑化された社会環境に加え，テレビの急速な普及等も相俟つて年々増加の傾向を示している現状である。然も，その予防並びに，治療面を顧みるとき，従来諸家により薬物療法，理学的療法，訓練等が種々試みられ，一応の効果は認められているものの，副作用，永続性，その他の点であまり満足すべき結果は得られていない。近年Epi—nephrineとEphedrinに類似した合成交感神経刺激剤で1—α—hydroxymethyl-amino−3—hyd—roxyethyl benzen-hydrochlorideの構造を有するネオシネジン点眼液が仮性近視の治療に試みられ，その効果が報告されている。

　私共も今回5％ネオシネジン点眼液（以下N-S点眼液と略す）を仮性近視と思われる患者に使用し，いささか認むべき成績を得たので茲に報告する。

The effect of Neosynesin instillation was detected on 30 cases of suspscted Pseudomy-opia, and the following results were obtained.

1) Either uncorrected vision or refractive errors were improved in 80% of cases. 2) The earlier the stage of pseudomyopea and the lower the degree of refractive error, the more effective the application of this instill-ation was. 3) The remarkable effect was observed in cases from 10 to 14 years of age. 4) No side effect was found in this treatme-nt.
