眼心身症を伴う仮性近視

Pseudomyopia with Psychoneurosis

I．緒言

　神鳥教授^1）は日本眼科紀要に，今までの近視に関する研究，諸説は形而上のことのみを論じていて，精神的要素を取り上げていないうらみがある。従来仮性近視とされていたもののうちには，精神神経症視力障害が含まれているのではないか。学校近視の一重要因子として精神神経症を入れるべきであると述べている。著者はこの神鳥教授のいう精神神経症による近視が実際に存在するか，存在するとすればいかなる頻度において出現するか，さらにその治療はいかなる方法がよいかを明らかにする目的で調査を行なつたのでその結果を報告する。

Of 522 students of the Yonago Primary School, myopia was found 12.20% in the third grade, 17.10 in the fourth grade, 18.02 % in the fifth grade, 14.71% in the sixth grade. Of the stu-dents with myopia, pseudomyopia appeared 86.67%, 76.92%, 50.00% and 35.00%, respec-tively. Of the students with pseudomyopia, psychoneurosis was found 7.67%, 25.00%, 60.00 % and 57.14%. The administration of tranquili-zer was effective in pseudomyopia with psycho-neurosis.
