I.緒言
A report is presented over a case of trau-matic aniridia in a 50-year-old male patient. Repeated blow had been inflicted upon the left eye with the tip of the umbrella when involved in a quarrel. For a while after the injury, the case simulated traumatic aniridia without the rupture of the globe which is an exceptionally rare event. As time passed, it be-came evident that the condition was accom-panied by luxation of the lens into the sub-conjunctival space. It was assumed by the authors that the lens together with the iris had got out of the globe through the site of the indirect scleral rupture.
