角膜知覚に就いて二，三の知見

Several findings about corneal sensitivity

I．緒言

　角膜知覚に関してはV．Frey （1894）が知覚の定量的検査法を創始して以来多数の人々に依つて発表されて居る。其の後金属線の器具或は電気抵抗に依る検査法が発表されて居るが何れも普遍化して居ないのは色々操作上の困難があつたものと思われる。従つて一般には各国に於ても綿花を撚つて使用して居るのが現状の様である。然し近年Boberg Anns及びCochet等に依りナイロンモノフィラメントを使用した角膜知覚計が発表され種々の検索の結果が報告されて居る。又我国に於ても富井氏がナイロンモノフィラメントを使用した試作角膜知覚計に依り種々報告発表されて居る。ナイロンモノフィラメントを使用したのはその操作が簡単な事又ナイロン線維の進歩に依り知覚検査に関して一つの進歩を示したものといえる。当眼科教室に於いても東洋レーヨンのナイロンモノフィラメントタイプ100．ナイロン6.0.6号を使用して新しいホルダーを考案して角膜知覚の定量的検査を試みたので報告する次第である。

Recently quality of artificial fibres has remarkably developped. In our clinic we made a new esthesio meter with Toyo layon nylon monofilament.

About the corneal sensitivity of normal eyes and of glaucomatous ones, and the chan-ges of corneal sensitivity mesured with this esthesiometer after the Corneal bath with cortison solution are reported.

The results of this experiments are as follows.

1) The corneal sensitivity falls with ages.

2) The centre of cornea is more senstive than pericorneal part, and the lateral and the nasal side of corneal limbus are more sensti-ve than upper and lower edge of cornea.
