糖尿病性網膜症に対する蛋白同化ホルモン（ANADROL）の使用経験

Treatment of diabetic retinopahy with 2-Hydroxymethylene-17 alpha-Methyl-dihy drotestoterone (ANADROL)

I．緒言

　糖尿病性網膜症に対する治療には種々のVita—min例えばB₁₂，C,E,P,K，又Dicumarol，Rutin, Hesperinなどの薬が用いられている^1）2）。又食餌療法として低脂肪食の効果を認めておる報告もあるが，おおむねそれらの成績には著効を示すものはない。男性ホルモンの使用も初期の報告（Saskin 1951）^3）では有効であつたが，その後の報告では効果が少ないか無効であるという（Bedrossian 1953^4），　Trautmann 1958^5））。

　我々も糖尿病性網膜症の治療について既に臨眼14巻（1960）に報告し，その方法はVitaminB₁₂注射，Vitamin C, Hesperin, Rutin内服，Te—stosterone注射を行なつた。その結果は，比較的初期の網膜症に対しては，若干の好転と進展の阻止及び遅延をもたらすが，その決定的な意義に関しては明白に主張し得ない旨を述べた。

Authors reported the results of administra-tion of 2-hydroxymethylene-17-methyldihydro-testosteron (ANADROL) to five patients ha-ving severe diabetic retinopathy of stage Ⅲof Wagener's classification.

Four tablets of ANADROL were given per os daily for a period extending over three months. In three cases, fundus changes were improved ophthalmoscopically but remaining two cases showed deterioration in spite of tr-eatment.
